These experiences will be happening on rotation on Wednesday afternoon in the Spring Bay Mill gardens with our horticultural experts.

Head down to Paddy’s Paddock on your arrival after registering. Each activity is 1-1.5 hours with a group of 10-20 people.

  • Horticultural Experience – Planting 12:00 and 1:30pm
  • Indigenous Cultural Interpretation Walk and Bush Foods 2:00pm and 3:30pm
  • Horticultural Experience – Planting 2:00pm and 3:30pm

Learn about our native plant species and get your hands dirty while helping to rebuild the Spring Bay Mill ecosystem with our head horticulturalist Marcus Ragus.

Learn how to build and maintain a biohaystack for super efficient composting.

Tour our food gardens, learn great tips for growing organic fruit and veg including how to process your waste with a worm-farm.

INDIGENOUS CULTURAL WALK WITH BUSH FOODS

Tour the Spring Bay Mill site and learn about its original inhabitants with our indigenous culture expert.

Forage for bush foods and learn about our sustainability programs.
