The 43-hectare Spring Bay Mill site in Triabunna offers endless potential for school camps and excursions that are both exhilarating and educational.
We believe in building a better future for the planet by giving young people hands-on experiences that increase their understanding of the environment and their place within it.
Our indoor and outdoor performance spaces, multimedia facilities, expansive organic gardens and coastal location offer a range of activities. These include but aren’t limited to tree-planting, seed propagation, Indigenous history and bush-foods tours, cooking, science workshops, music and theatre performance and more.
We have our own vessel, which means we can take your students exploring along Tassie’s East Coast or on adventures to the stunning historic Maria Island where they can stay for a day or overnight. Back at the Mill, we have glamping and camping space available so you can maximise that close-to-nature experience.
A site that’s steeped in layers of Indigenous and environmental history, there’s loads to learn here at Spring Bay Mill.
We hold regular Open Days so you can check out the facilities. You’re also welcome to contact our team and arrange a site tour.
Register to receive our information pack and we’ll get in touch to discuss how we can craft a unique school camp experience for your students.
