A site steeped in layers of Indigenous and environmental history, there’s loads to learn here at Spring Bay Mill. This 43-hectare site offers school camps and excursions that are both exhilarating and educational.
We believe in building a better future for the planet by giving young people hands-on experiences that increase their understanding of the environment and their place within it.
Our indoor and outdoor performance spaces, multimedia facilities, expansive organic gardens and coastal location offer a range of activities including tree-planting, seed propagation, indigenous history and bush-foods tours, cooking, science workshops and more.
Our private vessel facilitates explorations of Tassie’s East Coast or to historic wukaluwikiwayna/Maria Island. Onsite accommodation is in glamping tents with shared camp facilities so you can maximise that close-to-nature feel.
Register to receive our information pack and we’ll get in touch to discuss how we can craft a unique school camp experience for your students.
OPEN DAYS & TOURS

We hold regular Open Days so you can check out the facilities. You’re also welcome to contact our team and arrange a site tour.
