A site steeped in layers of Indigenous and environmental history, there’s loads to learn here at Spring Bay Mill. This 43-hectare site offers school camps and excursions that are both exhilarating and educational.

We believe in building a better future for the planet by giving young people hands-on experiences that increase their understanding of the environment and their place within it.

Our indoor and outdoor performance spaces, multimedia facilities, expansive organic gardens and coastal location offer a range of activities including tree-planting, seed propagation, indigenous history and bush-foods tours, cooking, science workshops and more.

Our private vessel facilitates explorations of Tassie’s East Coast or to historic Maria Island. Onsite accommodation is in  glamping tents with shared camp facilities so you can maximise that close-to-nature feel.

Register to receive our information pack and we’ll get in touch to discuss how we can craft a unique school camp experience for your students.

We hold regular Open Days so you can check out the facilities. Click here to register for our next one (virtually or come to the Mill) on February 19th 2022.

You’re also welcome to contact our team and arrange a site tour.
