We work with Tasmanian E-Bike Adventures to bring immersive and bespoke group riding experiences on Maria Island and its Marine Protected Area to guests of the Mill.

Owner Ben Rea grew up in Orford when the Triabunna Woodchip Mill was in its peak of production and spent his twenties campaigning for the protection of Tassie’s forests. Now he wants to help others deepen their own connections to the local landscape.

On Haibike German-engineered E-bikes, the Maria Adventure is a privately curated, all-encompassing expedition exploring the trail network and stories of Maria Island National Park, its coast hinterland forests, magnificent beaches, underwater gardens, and World Heritage-listed cultural sites.

Adventures adapt to weather and wind conditions to create an experience that captures the wildness of Tasmania, and are specially catered with delicious gourmet Tasmanian produce.
