Focusing on diversity is one of the ways we inspire innovation. Each and every guest is treated with respect and dignity and we pride ourselves on service that is equitable and undiscriminating.
Access made easy
There are no separate entrances for people in wheelchairs or with mobility issues. Everyone enters key spaces via gentle ramps and wide doors. We have wheelchair accessible accommodation in our Ridge Quarters. We offer any of our guests with mobility needs the option to be escorted around the site in our electric shuttle bus ‘The Volts Wagon’.
All pronouns welcome
We recognise and design for gender diversity with gender neutral toilets throughout the site and a policy of using gender neutral, non-heteronormative language – such as ‘soon-to-be-newly-weds’ and ‘wedding party’ instead of ‘brides’ and ‘grooms’.
Support for support animals
Exceptions to our no pets policy are made for the important work of support animals. We will make every effort to arrange for working animal companions to be in all areas of the site including accommodation.
Dietary needs, no problem
Our hospitality team is skilled at adapting menus to suit a range of dietary and allergy requirements without compromising quality. We always gather information on dietary requirements in advance and communicate with our front-of-house who arrange seating plans if needed. Menus are listed displaying items that have dietary specific qualities.
Always be improving
We acknowledge that true inclusivity is a constant, evolving discussion and we are committed to making frequent improvements. We also understand inclusion and diversity spans many different intersecting needs. We believe that making improvements and adaptations for diversity and inclusivity benefits us all by making things easier, promoting awareness and expanding perspectives.
